COVID-19 Resources

“Because an informed community is a healthier community.” This quote is part of a public campaign jointly sponsored by the National Network of Libraries of Medicine and the American Library Association to help raise awareness of how libraries provide trusted health information to their communities. Never than in this time of crisis has this quote rang more true.  And although our library is closed for the time being, we’re continuing to work from home, connecting our community to online books, information, and resources to help them through this period of “Stay Home, Stay Healthy.”

I usually provide access to health information and resources at the library through monthly programs with health professionals, health-related materials that you can check out, and a dedicated health kiosk.  But since you can’t access these resources at the library right now, I’ve decided to bring access to you at home. I know that some in our community might not have internet at home so I’ve tried to provide phone numbers for as many of the resources as possible.  The free public Wi-Fi at the library is also on 24/7 to access these resources, see details below for getting online.

We will get through this with the strength and resilience our community has always possessed. Until then, stay safe, stay healthy, and please help others when able!
