We're excited to announce that we'll be starting curbside delivery starting on Monday, June 8, and one of the new things you'll be able to request for pick up are Discovery Passes! Thanks to a partnership with the Washington State Library and Washington State Parks, we now have four Discovery Passes available for any adults with a library card to check out as part of the Check Out Washington program.According to the State Parks website, "The Discover Pass offers you access to millions of acres of state recreation lands in Washington State including more than 100 developed state parks , more than 350 primitive recreation sites, including campgrounds and picnic areas, nearly 700 water-access points, nearly 2,000 miles of designated water and land recreation trails, more than 80 natural areas and more than 30 wildlife areas.”
At this time, we're just checking out the Discover Pass along with a State Parks map, but we hope to start checking out our popular fishing, hiking, birding, and geocaching Backpack Kits later this summer so you can enjoy the Discover Pass even more!
